Operation Welcome Home Maryland

This is most definitely one of my favorite service events to participate in. Operation Welcome Home Maryland greets soldiers who are returning to the United Satates from deployment and placements overseas. Volunteers cheer and greet the soldiers as well as hand out goody bags filled with snacks and thank you cards. It is an extremely moving event to see families reunited and be able to express my thanks and gratitude for their service.
