Girl Scouts of Central Maryland

The Girl Scouts are always holding events and needing volunteers. I have volunteered at Dasiy Day where Brownies can earn patches while having fun. I have also volunteered at the Girl Scout Encampment for the last two years helping run activities and interact with the girls while they earn more badges and valuable life skills. One year at Encampment I got to teach girls about the environment and we made Fairy Houses out of sticks and leaves. Last year at Encampment I had the opportunity to teach the girls about clean water and how to make a natural water filter using dirt, rocks, and sand.
