ZooBoo and Bunny BonanZoo

The Maryland Zoo holds events twice a year for families to come and bring their kids for an interactive day at the Zoo. ZooBoo is held around Halloween where the children get to dress up, get candy, and make crafts. Bunny BonanZoo is held around Easter and the children get to go on an Egg Hunt, meet the Easter Bunny, and make crafts. The events are fun and interactive with the children. The Zoo also holds races such as ZooZoom where volunteers cheer on runners during their 5k and family fun run as well as hand out water.
